Key Takeaways as Browns Get Rattled by Ravens in Another Upsetting Defeat

Nov 19, 2025, 1:28 PM CUT

If you watched this one, you probably felt the same knot of frustration we did. The Browns had their moments, but the Ravens’ late surge flipped everything upside down. From Sheduer Sanders' breakthrough into the team to hero performances from the Ravens' squad, let's breakdown the top takeaways from this Week 11 matchup.

Ravens Steady Themselves in a Much-Needed Win

If you’ve followed Baltimore this season, you know nothing has come easy. Six weeks into the NFL season, and they stood at 1-5. If they wanted to make it to the playoffs, they desperately needed a win streak, and since then, they’ve not lost a single game. At the end of Week 11, they’re 5-5 at .500 and Lamar Jackson is back from injury! The Ravens finally look like a playoff contender.

Kyle Hamilton Puts on a Defensive Masterclass

Hamilton posted a historic stat line: nine tackles, a sack, three tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and a quarterback hit. Using a spin move, he ended Shedeur Sanders’ first drive and capped it off with Sanders’ watch flex celebration. To cap it all off, Hamilton cheekily remarked, “I can't seem to catch a pick in Cleveland, for some reason.”

Derrick Henry Breaks Through Cleveland’s Wall

Despite the Browns’ disappointing season, they had one thing going for themselves: no team could crack past 100 rushing yards against Cleveland. That’s where Henry came in. With 103 yards on 18 carries, Henry’s highlight came late into the third quarter, as he literally broke through the Cleveland line for a massive 59-yard gain.

Mark Andrews Turned the Game for the Ravens

If you caught that moment late in the fourth, you know it felt huge. Andrews broke free and sprinted 35 yards for the go-ahead score with just 2:31 left, flipping the entire game. He finished with three catches for 32 yards, more than enough to pass Derrick Mason and become Baltimore’s all-time receiving yards leader, all while spoiling Shedeur Sanders’ NFL debut.

Shedeur Sanders’ Debut Was a Nightmare

After weeks of waiting and months of debate, Sanders finally had his moment, but it wasn’t what he wanted. Replacing Dillon Gabriel, he went 4-for-16 for 47 yards, threw an interception, and took two sacks. His 13.5 rating told the story of a rookie feeling the league’s speed, even as Myles Garrett kept Cleveland afloat defensively.

Myles Garrett Is On a Roll

Miles Garrett already broke one record earlier in the season with 112.5 sacks. Against the Ravens, he took it up a notch, as his four sacks took him to 13 total this season. With this, he becomes the only player in league history with five straight seasons tallying a minimum of 13 sacks. However, against the Ravens, despite keeping Lamar Jackson quiet for most of the game, the Browns ended in a loss that has put them at 2-8 for the season.
