Kevin Stefanski's Future Still Undecided as Owner Jimmy Haslam Pondering Over Decision: Reports

Cleveland Owner Jimmy Haslam is quietly thinking over the decision on Coach Kevin Stefanski’s Future.

According to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The Browns haven’t made a decision yet on Kevin Stefanski as head coach.

Jimmy Haslam has supported Kevin Stefanski and kept expectations low this season. In fact, just two months ago, Haslam backed Stefanski.

"Kevin’s done a really good job with us, and we’ve had some tough breaks. A big trade we made didn’t work out, and you know, we’re all suffering from that. Kevin, I thought, really did a great job of rallying the troops last week at a really critical time.

Recently, though, the Browns haven’t played clean football. Errors, like the Wildcat call against the Titans, and rumors around 'sabotaging' Shedeur Sanders have reached a new high. And after the Bills loss, the team is heading to a 3-14.

And as Pelissero and Rapoport reported, Stefanski will have no problems securing a new role. After all, he won AP NFL Coach of the Year twice, in 2020 and 2023.

The final decision is expected to be announced shortly after the 2025 NFL season concludes.

But who will replace Kevin Stefanski?

According to the current rumor mill, it might be Deion Sanders. Going into 2025, the Browns will enter a major rebuilding year. They have a few rookies on board already, with stars like Shedeur Sanders, Harold Fanin Jr. and Quinshon Judkins proving themselves.

During this time, Deion can bring a lot of experience to the table. As fans may remember, when he arrived in Colorado, the team had finished the season at 1-11. Just two years later, they went 9-4 in the Big 12.

He went aggressive in transfers, bringing in talents like Travis Hunter to the team. Could he do the same with the Browns? Let us know what you think in the coments!
