Kevin Stefanski in Demand as Another NFL Franchise Eye Ousted Browns HC After NY Giants Link

Kevin Stefanski might be moving on from the Browns quicker than anyone could have thought. It seems like the demand for ther 43-year-old among NFL franchises is high.

Until now, it was the New York Giants that the insiders reported were interested in the former Browns HC after firing their Brian Daboll mid-season. But now another team has also shown interest, as reported by SI's Albert Breer.

"The Raiders are interviewing Chiefs OC Matt Nagy, ex-Browns coach Kevin Stefanski and Broncos DC Vance Joseph for their head coaching job today, per sources. Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak interviews tomorrow Vegas met with Broncos QB coach/PGC Davis Webb yesterday."

The Las Vegas Raiders fired thier head coach Pete Carroll after just one year. They had one of the most terrible seasons this year, with a win-loss ratio of 3-14, including a 10-game losing streak. They scored the fewest total touchdowns by a team this season (25).

Plus, they also had the fewest points per game by a team this season, with 14.2 per game. But the good news is that they have the number 1 pick in the 2026 draft, which means they can get Fernando Mendoza on the team.

Kevin Stefanski might not have soon seen a great success with the Browns, but he led them to their first playoff appearance since 2002 and their first playoff victory since 1994. He also won the Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year award twice. So he might not be that bad of a choice for the Browns.

Who are the Browns replacing Kevin Stefanski with?

The Browns have also started looking for a new head coach since firing Stefanski. "In terms of next steps, our focus is on identifying and finding the leader and the partner to bring along this young team as well as the young players that we're going to add in the next several months," Andrew Berry has said.

NFL Insiders have reported multiple names that the team has requested to interview as thier new HC-

  • Baltimore Ravens OC Todd Monken
  • Seattle Seahawks DC Aden Durde
  • Cincinnati Bengals OC Dan Pitcher
  • Cleveland Browns OC Tommy Rees
  • Cleveland Browns DC Jim Schwartz

The Ravens have fired Jim Harbaugh, so the Browns must be interested in him very much. But sources have revealed that he is not available for an interview this week. Who would you like to see as the Browns' new head coach?
