"Keep Crying": Ravens Star Mocks Bengals Following Legal Hit on Joe Burrow
Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones has made headlines for his conduct in Sunday’s match against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jones mocked Bengal players after he collided with their quarterback, Joe Burrow.
Jones shoved Burrow on the ground in the form of late contact. By the time Jones hit the Bengals quarterback, Burrow had already tossed the ball, making the contact unnecessary.
But it didn’t end there. Jones aggressively made a crying gesture at the Bengal players, who wanted the refs to address and flag the hit.

In a post-game conference, Jones said the Ravens were only focused on winning the game and wanted to attack their opponents. He said the Bengals weren’t “lively” while playing the game.
“We knew we had them on their heels,” he said. “Just by how they were calling it, how they looked, their demeanor. They didn't feel lively to me. ... I felt that play one they weren't ready to play. It was too cold for them,” he elaborated.
Was This The Worst Joe Burrow Performance
The Bengals lost to the Ravens 0-24. Burrow made zero touchdowns for 225 passing yards, got intercepted twice, and made three sacks. This was one of Burrow’s worst career performances.
Burrow, who had returned from a left toe surgery that sidelined him for nine games, returned after three weeks and threw two interceptions and completed 25 of 39 passes for 225 yards as Cincinnati (4-10) was shut out at home for the first time since 2017.
“If you’re wanting to compete for championships and get in the playoffs, number one, your quarterback has to play better than I did today,” Burrow said. “I hold myself to a high standard. This is one of the worst games I’ve played.”
In his own words, he could have done better. What do you think? Tell us in the comments.
