Josh Allen Sends Strong Message After Massive Comeback Win Against Jaguars
The Buffalo Bills made a last-quarter comeback against the Jacksonville Jaguars to record the first on-the-road NFL playoff victory for Josh Allen.
In the post-game press conference, a reporter asked the Bills' QB about the comeback, and he had a strong message to give.
"Yeah, to have the wherewithal to, again, not blink. And I think that's just the mantra that we have adopted this year. If we've got time left and we got the ball, we got a shot. And you saw that there today."
The Bills trailed at 20-24 with 1:04 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Allen and Co did not give up. The team executed a tush-push, which ultimately led to a touchdown, and while it was reversed, it landed the Bills at the 1-yard line.
Josh Allen rushed for a yard and recorded the game's final and deciding touchdown. The Jaguars had the chance to make a comeback, but Trevor Lawrence threw an interception. \
The Bills' QB ended the game with a QBR of 77.3 and RTG of 108.7. He completed 28 out of his 35 passes for 273 yards and 1 touchdown. He also carried the football 11 times, rushing for 33 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus praise from the head coach.

Allen had a right foot injury walking into this game, and he was not shy about taking a hit in this game. Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen landed on his head, and his helmet came off in the first quarter. This resulted in him going to the medical camp.
The 29-year-old rushed it in from 2 yards out with 5:37 remaining in the 2nd quarter and took the lead (10-7). He was limping after the play, and yet, fortunately, no major issue was caused. He had the Bills' head coach in awe as well.
"Well, it trickles down from him in terms of the team's toughness. I mean, he's one of your quarterbacks, that type of warrior, that type of competitor. It's just, like I said, from a leadership standpoint, it just goes through the whole team."
