Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and singer-actress Hailee Steinfeld, who’ve enjoyed a great year, have another reason to celebrate. Steinfeld shared that the couple is expecting their first child in her newsletter, Beua Society.

“How lucky are we that we get to grow older?" Steinfeld wrote in her newsletter to commemorate her 29th birthday. “This year, I’ve been reminded of how precious life is. I’ve surprised myself in a thousand different ways.” Allen and Steinfeld started dating in 2023 and married privately in California six months ago.

In an November interview with Bustle, the actress had shared the couple would “absolutely” have kids. 

Allen is enjoying a great season. The 2024 MVP is leading the Bills (9-4) in the playoff race with  3,083 passing yards, a career-high 70.1% completion rate, 22 passing touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 487 rushing yards, and 12 rushing touchdowns.

Steinfeld starred in the acclaimed Ryan Coogler-directed Sinners that swept seven Emmy nominations. On Saturday, the actress had posted a reel with her husband to share the news.

Allen commented, “I love you” with a heart emoji under Hailee’s reel, with many more celebrities congratulating the couple. Friends, fans and co-stars took to the comment section for congratulations.

“Oh my god haileeeeee,” commented Sophie Turner, while Millie Bobby Brown wrote “OH MY GODDDDD HAILS!!!!!” while “Best news ever,” wrote Elizabeth Banks.

With the year almost at its close, Hailee and Allen are set to welcome the new year with a big addition to their family!
