Myles Chase is chasing the single-season sack record against the Bills and their QB, Josh Allen.

Ahead of the Bills vs Browns clash in Week 16, a journalist asked Allen if he had thought about being the QB against whom Garrett can break the record for most sacks in a season.

"I do like highlight tapes, but I don't like being a part of other people's highlight tapes. I mean, he's an absolutely tremendous football player. He's one of the greatest of all time. He's a force to be reckoned with, and we've got to be ready for everything that they can throw at us."

The Browns' DL currently leads the season with 21.5 sacks through 14 games. With one more, he would be tied with T.J. Watts and Michael Strahan for most sacks in a season.

Against the Bills, Garrett's numbers have been low. He has had only 3 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 1.0 sack in 2 games against them in his career. At the same time, Allen has taken 33 sacks this season, the sixth most of all QBs. Garrett could have a field day. Perhaps that's why Josh Allen remains cautious of him.

"You have to be aware of where 95 is at all times. I mean, he's the biggest guy out there. He's the fastest guy out there." He praised his ability to get off blocks, his motor, and called him an "all-around football player. "

But Myles Garrett isn't focusing on the record

After the humiliating 3-31 defeat from the Bears, Garrett downplayed nearing the sacks record, saying that "It's always been in sight."

"You're taking one game at a time. You don't look at the record, look at the man beside you. It could be his last game. It could be his last game in the NFL, last game here. Could be your last game. Don't go out with a whimper. Don't go gently into the night."

He wants the team to take one game at a time. The Week 16 game against Josh Allen and Co. can be the perfect place to show that mentality.
