Jimmy Haslam’s Browns take major decision to please fans with latest announcement

The Cleveland Browns' offseason is set to get busier. The Browns and co-owner Jimmy Haslam have decided to host nine free open practices for fans at the Cross Country Mortgage Campus in Berea, Ohio.

These practices will give fans a look into their 2026 edition before the season opens on 13 September. The first open session will be held on 31 July and will conclude on 12 August.

Ashley Pompas of cleveland19.com reported that the tickets for training camps will be available starting Wednesday, 15 July, at 10 AM ET. Additionally, Browns season ticket members have the option of reserving their tickets 24 hours in advance on Tuesday, 14 July.

Ashley Pompas of cleveland19.com added that each account is limited to four tickets per individual session. The gates for these open sessions will open only one hour before the practice.

The Browns are also planning to feature a designated theme day like "Summer Kickoff," "Superhero Day," "Military Appreciation" and more during each open practice session. The purpose behind this is to highlight local organizations and community groups while offering fans unique experiences.

Browns insider Dan Labbe of cleveland.com shared that these open practices will give fans a glimpse at the rookie class of 2026, featuring left tackle Spencer Fano, WRs KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston, and more.

Most importantly, the Dawg Pound (as the Browns fans call themselves) will get an exclusive look at the starting QB competition between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson.

The Browns will also be making some roster decisions after training camp and may explore trade options during the offseason.

NFL insider speculates on the players the Browns would trade before the regular season

The Cleveland Browns' training camp will be the first under head coach Todd Monken. Amid roster decisions from 90-player to 53-player after the preseason, an NFL insider shared the possibility of a trade concerning three players.

According to Brandon Little of A to Z Sports, the Browns could trade wide receiver Cedric Tillman, quarterback Dillon Gabriel and offensive tackle Dawand Jones.

Little shared that Tillman could be the rotational WR of the Browns in what appears to be his final season in Cleveland. His inability to stay healthy and his inconsistency on the field are hurdles that the Browns might get rid of by exploring trade options for the WR.

Little reported that QB Gabriel, who made only six starts in the 2025 season, is the odd man out with Sanders and Watson vying for the QB1 spot and rookie Taylen Green coming to Cleveland this April.

Similarly for Jones, Little shared that the OT was only able to play three games the previous season, and his multiple serious injuries are a concern for the Browns.

Which of these three players do you think the Browns could trade before Week 1?
