Jerry Jeudy Gets Honest About Drastic Browns Change Under Todd Monken

Jerry Jeudy is already feeling the impact of the Browns' massive offensive shift under Todd Monken. As Cleveland opens its 2026 OTA program, the star receiver claims the new system is a total departure from anything the franchise has run in recent years.

Following a strong draft and Monken's arrival, Jeudy shared his thoughts during a media session on the Browns' offensive line.

Jeudy emphasized how different Monken's offense feels compared to previous seasons. “Everything is different about this offense, the play-calling, the concepts,” Jeudy said. “I deal with different changes every time in my career, so that’s not a biggie,” Jeudy added.

Jeudy also spoke about how the new line and strategies can help in going forward

“With this offense, they do a great job of getting to the best plays. So being able to give the quarterback the ability to change the plays to get in the best formation against certain defenses and certain looks, that’s just gonna help us,” Jeudy said.

The key part of Monken’s offense in Baltimore was shifting and movement, and his focus is to bring the same in Cleveland.

While Jeudy praised the changes being made on offense, Monken's approach during OTAs has also caught the attention of players and coaches alike.

Todd Monken's OTA Approach Already Drawing Attention

Jeudy spent his summer working on concentration drills to correct his drops from last season.

Monken’s way of running OTA practices is totally different. He deploys different coaches across the defensive field wearing mesh penny jerseys to allow his offense to understand different looks.

Monken later addressed the reporters and used the word “embarrassing” to describe interceptions that happened in the seven-on-seven period with no pass rush.

As the Browns featured more of their quarterbacks this week, interceptions in that session persisted. From Deshaun Watson to Shedeur Sanders, all of them have attended the session.

With a newly revamped offensive line, Jeudy feels more confident around Sanders and Watson.

“A lot more confident, a lot more comfortable,” he said about Watson. “Just having those days, giving him time to prepare himself mentally and physically, he’s coming out here looking real good," Jeudy added.

With Monken focusing on a new offensive system and the quarterback’s form. Jeudy believes the Browns are moving in the right direction under Monken ahead of the 2026 season.
