Jason Kelce Drops Major Advice for Brother Travis Kelce as Retirement Rumors Take Center Stage

Travis Kelce made an appearance on his brother Jason's New Heights podcast, chatting about the Chiefs' season so far.

That's when Jason took a moment to talk about the retirement rumors surrounding Travis.

“In my opinion, to nail that decision, you gotta step away from the game for a little bit. Play these last three games, enjoy 'em with your teammates, enjoy 'em with your coaches. The team is going to be different whether or not you come back next year.”

This comes on the back of a moment in the same podcast where Travis Kelce addressed the injury situation around Mahomes as the Chiefs getting him back, not including himself in that conversation. It's made fans think Kelce is definitely retiring.

However, with three games to go, this might be Travis Kelce's chance to rediscover his fire. The Chiefs are mathematically out of the Super Bowl. Mahomes is on the injury reserve. And despite having just 5 touchdowns and 797 yards, Kelce wants to make that happen, as he told his brother.

"There’s only one way I do things, there’s only one way Coach Reid does things and if we’re going to go out there and play football, we’re going to do it the right way and keep trying to get things fixed and end on the highest note that we can."

Travis Kelce may get opportunities for multiple touchdowns

The Tennessee Titans are one of the worst teams in the league at the moment. And when it comes to passing yards, they've conceded eight-most in the league (233).

Moreover, they've conceded three touchdowns to tight ends in their last two games. While the 49ers' Kittle only managed one, both David Njoku and Harold Fanin Jr. were able to snag one each.

With QB Patrick Mahomes out, it will be upto Travis Kelce to lead the team, and with this Titans squad handing out touchdowns, it might just be the game for Kelce to turn it around.
