“I don't care about sacks...I try to be the best version of me that elevates my teammates around me. A sack is one play out of 60 you get a game. What are you doing the other 59 plays?”

It is a bold stance from a defensive end. Sacks are only one part of the job, but getting to the quarterback remains important for an edge rusher.

Verse has already shown he can produce, recording 12 sacks during his first two seasons. Now, Cleveland will hope those numbers improve as he settles into his new role.
