Heartbreaking Off-Field Setback for Myles Garrett as Girlfriend Suffers Major Blow
Last week, the Cleveland Browns’ defensive end, Myles Garrett, broke the record for the most sacks in a single season against Joe Burrow and the Bengals. However, bad news followed his historic success.
Garrett's girlfriend and Winter Olympics gold medalist, Chloe Kim, suffered a devastating shoulder dislocation during her snowboarding practice for the 2026 Winter Olympics. She took to Instagram and posted a video addressing the injury.
"Trying to stay positive through these moments is so difficult. I have gone through so many waves of emotions that I literally have a migraine. The only thing I can do is rest/do everything in my power to come back as soon as possible. Thank you all for supporting me on this wild journey! will keep you posted :) p.s I think I am getting old," said Kim.
The incident occurred earlier this week during her training in Switzerland. Kim shared that it will require an MRI to determine whether she will be away from full training for a long time or not. She described the event as an unfortunate and unexpected fall
The 2026 Winter Olympics will begin on February 6. It will be intriguing to see whether Kim gets herself ready for the big event or not.
The high-profile moment between Myles Garrett and Chloe Kim
Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett came under the spotlight when she attended the Browns' Week 12 game in 2025.
The Olympic gold medalist cheered for Garrett from the stands during the Cleveland Browns' clash with the Las Vegas Raiders. Her appearance quickly caught the attention of fans.
Kim came with her friend, wearing an all-black outfit with a black t-shirt. Cleveland ended up winning the game that night. The Browns’ defensive tackle was heavily involved, recording 4 solo tackles, along with 3 sacks and 6 QB hits.
Since then, the 25-year-old has been outside of the spotlight. She shifted her focus to the training for the Winter Olympics. Unfortunately, following her shoulder dislocation, Kim will first have to focus on her recovery.
