Grading Shedeur Sanders' Performance Against the Bears From Game Week 15

The Bears handed the Browns a 31-3 beating in week 15. From the moment the game began, Shedeur Sanders and co did not look like they stood a chance. Sanders, who had a historic game against the Titans, dipped so hard in this one.
The fans expected more from Sanders than the 18/35 for 177 yards with no touchdowns. But he was also stepping in against a team with a great defense. Keeping that in mind, let's grade the former Colorado QB.
Throwing: D+
Chicago's defense expertise is causing turnovers and mistakes from teammates, and Sanders himself was altogether responsible for the three interceptions.
On the first play after halftime, the Browns QB sent a short pass to TE Harold Fannin Jr. It was tipped and intercepted by Bears LB D’Marco Jackson near the 20-yard line. He did an excellent job of baiting Sanders by faking his blitz and dropping back in coverage.
On the next drive, Sanders sent the football flying to Jerry Jeudy in the end zone, a perfectly accurate deep pass. But that bounced off Jeudy's hand and landed in the arms of Jaylon Johnson in coverage.
Finally, in the first part of the 4th quarter, Shedeur Sanders threw deep again, another pass intended for Fannin. But CB C.J. Gardner-Johnson intercepted it and returned 32 yards into the Browns’ territory.
The only positive was his 47-yard throw to Isiah Bond and one to Jerry Jeudy that could have been a touchdown had Jeudy held on to the ball.
Rushing: C
The Browns carried the ball only 2 times and recorded only 24 yards, the majority of which came from a 15-yard rush in the 4th quarter with 6:43 remaining.

Despite that, he finished as the Browns’ leading rusher in the game due to the struggles of the running backs.
Overall: D
The performance was great, but this was also Sanders' first time against such defense. Before this, his two successful games came against two teams with a combined record of 4-24. He did show some positives in this one as well.
He was willing to take what the defense gave him in the fourth quarter. Sheduer Sanders did not force a pass deep or play hero ball, but tried to slowly move the chains.
Let us know what you think of his performance.
