The Cleveland Browns just traded Myles Garrett, and now another big name is being floated as a potential move. This time, it is their top wide receiver.

Adam Gerstenhaber, host of The Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show, made the case for trading Jerry Jeudy during a recent episode.

"Here's the thing. You know what would help those numbers go up, if they traded Jerry Jeudy," Gerstenhaber said, per BrownsNation.com. "He's not making crazy money. The question is, do you want to get rid of the only veteran receiver you have?"

Gerstenhaber argued that Cleveland's young receiver room has enough depth now to move forward without Jeudy and that keeping him might actually limit how much the younger players develop.

"I'd rather see all the passes go to the two rookies, Fannin, and even Bond," he said. "Let's get a move on from Jerry Jeudy. He's fine, but we don't need him."

Cleveland drafted KC Concepcion in the first round and added Denzel Boston in the second. Harold Fannin Jr. already proved himself last season with 72 catches, 731 yards, and six touchdowns. The young talent is there.

Jeudy has been with Cleveland since a 2024 trade from Denver and signed a three-year extension worth up to $58 million after arriving. In his first season with the Browns, he caught 90 passes for 1,229 yards and four touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl nod.

Last season was a step back, though. He finished with 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns as the team cycled through quarterback issues all year.

Browns GM has already pushed back on the idea

General manager Andrew Berry was asked about Jeudy's role after the draft and did not entertain the trade conversation.

"Zero impact on Jerry. He's our bell cow," Berry said, per Heavy.

He explained that the draft additions were about building a receiver room with different skill sets, not replacing Jeudy at the top of the depth chart. Jeudy himself is not focused on the outside noise.

"I don't focus too much on that," Jeudy told reporters in the Press Conference. "At the end of the day, I just focus on what I'm capable of doing."

He also made his confidence clear heading into the season.

"I'm very confident," Jeudy said, per Heavy. "I'm going to always be confident by the amount of work I just put in throughout the offseason."

The Browns head into training camp with Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson competing for the starting job. Whoever wins that race will have a direct say in how much Jeudy's production bounces back in 2026.
