“Get Off the Internet”: Lifelong Packers Fan Lil Wayne Gets Flamed For Strong Take on Caleb Williams
Lil Wayne was pretty disappointed when Caleb Williams and Co knocked his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, out of the playoffs. After a playoff loss, the rapper's controversial take on Bears QB Caleb Williams sparked immediate response.
"We just loss a playoff game to a n**** w purple nails we f*** s** bear a**! Bare ***!!! We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that," wrote Lil Wayne, and that did not get a very good reaction.
American music video director, Cole Bennett, quoted the tweet and wrote, "D*** Wayne, I love you, but it’s time to get off the internet after this one. Bear down."
The Bears QB has been painting his fingernails since high school as a tribute to his mother, who was a nail technician. Bennett clearly did not like Wayne taking a hit at that. He also received a signed jersey from Williams back in December 2025.

In the game itself, the Bears mounted a historic comeback to win. They trailed 21-3 at halftime and 21-6 through three quarters. But then they picked up points, and with 1:43 remaining, Caleb Williams threw a 25-yard go-ahead touchdown to DJ Moore.
That touchdown gave the Bears their first and only lead of the game. A missed field goal by Packers kicker Brandon McManus late in the game proved costly.
Despite the Bad Start, Caleb Williams Didn’t Lose Faith
The Bears rallied from an 18-point deficit, led by their QB. He talked about the comeback later with the media and revealed that one thing was needed to win such games.
“True belief,” Williams said. “Belief. That's all you need. You got belief in the coaches that they're gonna call the right play at the right time. You got belief in the players on the field that you're gonna make the right play at the right time.”
Caleb Williams led this comeback with 361 yards, 2 passing TDs, and only 2 interceptions while completing 24 of his 48 passing attempts. Let us know your thoughts on his performance.
