Fans Predict Super Bowl LXI Matchup As NFL Reveals 2027 Logo

The NFL just dropped its logo for Super Bowl LXI, and a long-running theory is already taking over. Fans believe the new teal and orange design is a direct hint at which teams will play in the 2027 championship.
On Monday, a post on X showed the Super Bowl LXI logo featuring the Lombardi Trophy, a beach, a massive teal colored wave, and an orange sunset.
These colors were enough to set the fans of the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, and many more, rolling.
"Broncos vs. Jaguars; Broncos vs. Lions; Broncos vs. Seahawks," the comment read. The Broncos had a satisfactory year with first place in the AFC West and competed for the conference title.
If only it were not for Bo Nix's ankle injury, the Broncos might've taken on the Seattle Seahawks instead of the New England Patriots.
But no fanbase is as hyped up as the Miami Dolphins'. The teal, white, and orange are the same colors as the franchise. "That s*** looks like a wave with a sunset, THE MIAMI DOLPHINS ARE COMING BABY," one fan said. And another fan mirrored the excitement.
"It’s finally happening," another fan reacted.
Why NFL Fans Have Not One but Three Reasons to Believe This
Super Bowl LVI had an orange and yellow logo. That year, the Bengals played against the Los Angeles Rams, and the Rams won 23-20.
The following year, the Super Bowl LVII logo had red and green. Ultimately, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles ended up playing for the title, and the Chiefs won 38-35.
The Chiefs and the Eagles again appeared in Super Bowl LIX, 2025. This time, the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22.
While all this is probably nothing more than wishful thinking, sports fans do take superstitions. Everything from holding on to the remote to having a specific spot on the couch, anything goes.
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl logo has served its purpose. It has created buzz for the next season. Yet, who do you think will win the Lombardi Trophy next year? Tell us in the comments.
