Fingers have not stopped pointing towards Kevin Stefanski after the 3-31 humiliation from the Bears, and even former players are speaking up.

Joe Haden, the former Browns defensive back who served the team for 7 seasons, rained down on the current head coach for the Bears game.

“That game was one of the worst games I have ever watched as a Browns fan. It had me sick to my stomach. I didn’t feel any hope. I don’t like Stefanski. He looks like he doesn’t care.”

And he is not wrong, that is the lowest points the Browns have ever scored in the entire season, they couldn't even score a touchdown. The last time they scored this low was against the Dolphins in the 2024 season (3-20).

The fanbase has also rained down on Kevin Stefanski for his conservative decisions, such as punting on 4th-and-1 while trailing. A lot of fans were also angry because of the wristband miscommunication with Shedeur Sanders. And Haden is not the only one seeing a problem with Stefanski.

Stephen A Smith also said after the Bears game, "My problem is, damn, Kevin Stefanski. Does any quarterback work for you? Any quarterback at all, right?" He has worked with 13 QBs in the past 5 years with the Browns.

Smith and Haden aren't alone

ESPN's Tony Grossi delivered a clear verdict for Stefanski. "I think, you know, with three games to go, only a miracle would be enough evidence to sell the public on bringing Kevin and his staff back. And that would be three wins…I’ve said the Haslams want some reason to bring him back because they don’t want to change coaches. But, you know, we’re getting to the point now where it’s almost mathematically impossible to do."

As a two-time AP Coach of the Year, removing someone like Kevin Stefanski could be a massive change. But the Browns are heading to another 3-14 season.
