Drake Maye Shuts Down Injury Claims Amidst Recent Concerning Reports
Super Bowl LX is just two days away, and Drake Maye has finally alleviated the fans' concerns about his injury.
As per an X post by sports anchor Nicole Menner from Wednesday, Maye, during a media session, moved his right shoulder to prove he’s fine and dismiss all claims about his health.
"Yes, shoulder feels great," Drake Maye added. "I wasn't limited on Monday, so I don't see any way I'd be limited today. I'm feeling good," he added.
The concerns stemmed from head coach Mike Vrabel’s vague Indication that no n player, including Drake Maye, was completely fit.
"There’s not a player on our team that’s 100% healthy," he stated in an episode of The Greg Hill Show.
"I would imagine we’ll go through the injury report and whenever we have to turn that in, we’ll turn it in… This’ll be our 21st game," he added.
David J.Cho, a former NFL doctor, opined that Maye injured his right shoulder while throwing against the Broncos in the AFC Championship game.
The Patriots Cannot Afford to Lose Drake Maye Now
With 31 touchdowns for 4,394 yards, Maye powered his team in their 12th Super Bowl campaign. They have ascended to this position after seven disappointing years and displayed one of the best turnarounds in recent history.
They ended the 2025 season with a 14-3 record after winning only eight games in the past two seasons. Moreover, with his statement.
The young QB is gearing up for his first-ever Super Bowl game, that too so early in his career. The second-year QB is already drawing parallels with the likes of former Patriots legend Tom Brady.
So it's no surprise that there are a lot of expectations on the Patriots lifting the Lombrdy Trophy after so long.
Historically, Seattle has gotten the better of the Patriots, as they hold an 11-8 record. However, Drake Maye & Co. will look to change that when they play against the Seattle Seahawks on February 8.
