The biggest talking point all summer for the Browns has been their QB battle. Shedeur Sanders versus Deshaun Watson that was the debate. Well, the team have made their choice and it's Watson.

Unfortunately though this decision hasn't sat well with Browns fans, and they've not been shy about letting people know. But while everyone knows how the fans feel about the situation, what about the rest of the NFL?

Well, thanks to Mike Sando of The Athletic we now know that executives around the league are also stunned by the decision. As one exec put it, the Browns "doubled down on toxic."

"They doubled down on toxic. I don't know how anybody can think they are headed in the right direction."

Another, even directly took aim at Sanders, claiming he is not good and called what he brings to the Browns a "circus."

"You didn't think the situation could get worse than Deshaun. It got worse. Sanders is not good, and the circus he brings is almost Tim Tebow-ish in a different fashion."

Safe to say no one expects the Browns to be any good this season, especially with this QB situation. But, at the end of the day, only time will tell.

The Browns could give Sanders a shot by Week 4

Like it or not, both Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders are here to stay. The question is, how long will each be given to prove that they are the definite QB1?

Well, Watson is up first. After all, he was selected for that role. But that doesn't mean it's a permanent appointment. Many believe he will be given at least a month to prove his worth.

So, if things are looking down by Week 4, the Browns may just ask Sanders to step up. But, will it be too late by then? The fans will just have to wait and see.
