Deshaun Watson's Wife Shares Behind the Scenes Golf Training Video

Deshaun Watson is gearing up for what could be the most significant season of his career. Absent since October 2024, Watson is set to return for his final season with the Cleveland Browns. But for now, he's teaching his wife how to play golf.

While the pressure keeps mounting, Watson and his wife are finding ways to relax.

In an X post shared on Tuesday by 'YANKOFF IS A STAR', Watson, the veteran quarterback, was seen teaching his wife, Jilly Anais, how to play golf. The 30-year-old also showed Anais how to swing the club and praised her for the shot.

Watson and Jilly Anais dated for more than five years before getting married in July 2025. Their wedding ceremony was a small and private yacht affair in Miami. The couple first met in 2019 when Watson played for the Houston Texans.

The two seem to enjoy other sports apart from football. And it is not surprising, as Watson was a multi-sport athlete in high school at Gainesville High School in Georgia.

While the two played golf recently, Anais, who has a strong social media presence, had shared pictures of them from the basketball courtside in March too, when they attended the Miami Heat vs the Los Angeles Lakers game.

While Browns OTAs have already started, Watson is hopefully recharged to take on the 2026 season.

What Does Deshaun Watson's Future Look Like?

After missing the 2023 and 2024 seasons partially and the 2025 season completely because of his re-ruptured Achilles tendon, Watson is returning to face some realities.

He now has to compete against Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, and prospective draft options like Ty Simpson for the QB1 role. The Browns went 4-13 and 5-12 in the past two seasons, and many want a change.

Watson was a star in his initial seasons, but went from throwing 33 touchdowns in 2020 to seven in 2022. His year-long suspension in 2021 was the starting point of Watson’s downhill curve.

Traded for $230 million, Watson was called a “swing and a miss” by franchise owner Jimmy Haslam last year, and he has only one chance to make up for the lost time.
