That performance sparked a striking comparison by Browns analyst Anthony Lima involving Cleveland's starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.

He highlighted the contrast on X/Twitter, noting that Allen had 9 total touchdowns in five days while Watson had 8 total touchdowns across 1,041 days.

"Josh Allen has 9 total touchdowns in 5 days. Deshaun Watson has 8 total touchdowns in 1,041 days," wrote Lima.

The numbers offer a snapshot of the very different stretches surrounding the two quarterbacks. Allen has opened the season with 9 scores, while Watson has spent much of the same period away from the field.

Deshaun Watson will remain Cleveland’s starting quarterback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.
