DeMarcus Lawrence's prediction just paid off. Thanks to a bet with former teammate Dez Bryant, the Seahawks star is now expecting a new Rolex for his Super Bowl trip.

As Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant revealed on X, "D law told me at the beginning of the season he was going to the Super Bowl. I doubted him. Congratulations, brotha! I'm going to make sure I'm at the Super Bowl supporting you! I guess I owe you a Rolex! 😂 these texts are from last march!"

Bryant referred to Lawrence's move before the season kicked off. He signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Seahawks during the 2025 offseason. After joining, Lawrence made a statement about his former team. 

"Dallas is my home. I made my home there, and my family lives there. But I know I am not gonna win a Super Bowl there. So yeah, we here!"

While it may have sounded a bit harsh, Lawrence knew what he was talking about. The Seahawks dominated the regular season, securing the top NFC seed with a 14-3 record. And now, after defeating the Rams 31-27, Seattle will be challenging for the Lombardi Trophy. 

Meanwhile, the same can't be said about the Cowboys. They finished second in the NFC East with a 7-9-1 record.

How Was DeMarcus Lawrence for Seattle?

DeMarcus Lawrence made a change by joining the Seahawks, and his first season wasn't quite what he wanted.

He was a key part of Seattle's defense, playing in 16 games this season. The 33-year-old recorded 24 solo tackles and 6 sacks. Not only that, but Lawrence also had 3 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.

In the postseason, Lawrence played both the Divisional and NFC playoff games and performed well. The veteran defensive end recorded a combined 5 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles.
