Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders have been battling over the QB1 spot in Cleveland all off-season. Despite going neck and neck in training camp and preseason, as well as Watson taking shots at Browns fans in a press-conference, Todd Monken named him as QB1 heading into the new season.

Shedeur's father Deion Sanders was asked about Shedeur starting the season as QB2 in a recent press conference. Deion kept his answer short:

"We all know what transpired with Shedeur although he's playing extremely well."

The Cleveland Browns will start the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 13.

Deshaun Watson is currently in the final season of his $230 million guaranteed contract while Shedeur enters his second year in the NFL.
