Cleveland Browns trading Jerry Jeudy? Analyst weighs in
Jerry Jeudy’s future with the Cleveland Browns could be worth watching after the team made significant investments at wide receiver during the 2026 NFL Draft.
Meanwhile, NFL analyst Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has identified Jerry Jeudy as a potential trade candidate. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are listed as possible suitors.
The Browns selected K.C. Concepcion in the first round and Denzel Boston in the second. The two young receivers add competition to a group that already includes Jerry Jeudy. According to Kristopher Knox, their arrival could push the veteran out of Cleveland’s long-term plans.
A trade would fit Cleveland’s focus on the future. The Browns previously dealt Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. However, Jerry Jeudy’s age and contract could still make him appealing to teams seeking help at wide receiver.
Jerry Jeudy’s numbers could make him expendable for the Browns
Jerry Jeudy saw his production drop sharply in 2025 after his Pro Bowl campaign in 2024.
In 2024, Jerry Jeudy recorded 90 receptions for 1,229 yards and four touchdowns. He followed that with 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns in 2025. He is still only 27. His $1.5 million base salary for 2026 is also team-friendly.
Kristopher Knox projects a conditional 2027 fourth-round pick as Jerry Jeudy’s trade value. Tony Grossi of The Land on Demand has also suggested the receiver could become a trade chip.
