Caleb Williams Sends Strong Warning to Myles Garrett as Browns Star Eyes Sack Record

Caleb Williams spoke to the media before the Chicago Bears' Week 15 clash against the Browns.
Before going up against the Browns' defense star Myles Garret, Williams sent a message.
"Obviously, he’s right there at the sack record, almost there at the sack record. And so, I’m going to try and make sure that he doesn’t get the sack record on us and on me."
Myles Garrett has singlehandedly led the pass rush for the Browns with 20 sacks this season. He needs three more to set the record for most sacks in a single NFL season (22.5), which is currently shared by Hall of Fame member Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt of the Steelers.
Although Garrett has been quiet in the last two games, this might be another opportunity to shine. In the Patriots game, Garrett managed 5 sacks against Drake Maye, one of the best QBs in the league. He could do the same to Williams, but he doesn't seem fazed.
"That’s something that he can do. That’s something that he’s done throughout his whole career. And so, we’re excited for the challenge. We’re excited for this week. We’re excited to try and get back into the win column."
Coach Ben Johnson reveals the secret behind Caleb Williams' confidence
Going up against a team like the Browns, who have conceded the lowest average passing yards in 2025 (165.2), won't be easy. Garrett is a big part of that problem. But Bears head coach Ben Johnson has a secret weapon: rookie left tackle Ozzy Trapilo.
After becoming a starter since the Week 12 game against the Steelers, Trapilo continues to impress fans. He has just one QB pressure in 65 plays, and with some backup, he could take on Garrett. That's what Johnson believes.
"He's a very conscious player. He's very aware of what's going on, who he's going against, where his help is. And, he tries to use it that way...We'll certainly have a plan and be aware of how we can help, not just Ozzy, but it's also (OL) Darnell (Wright) as well."
