Wide receiver Denzel Boston isn't looking like just another rookie anymore. Drafted to revive the Cleveland Browns’ underwhelming receiving corps, he starred during spring workouts and has picked up right where he left off in training camp.

ESPN NFL insider Daniel Oyefusi recently noted how Boston added another chapter to his red-hot start on Saturday, soaring over Tre Avery for a spectacular deep-fade touchdown catch from Shedeur Sanders.

“Denzel Boston was one of the standouts from the spring offseason workout program and has continued stacking strong performances in training camp. He had one of the catches of camp, leaping over a defensive back along the sideline to bring in a pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders in 7-on-7s,” wrote ESPN NFL insider Daniel Oyefusi.

According to Oyefusi's August 2 ESPN report, Boston has delivered one of the most standout performances of training camp so far. He has caught passes from every quarterback and has already developed strong chemistry with Shedeur Sanders.

Boston has all the tools to become the Browns' go-to red-zone weapon. His size, reliable hands and physicality have made him one of training camp's biggest standouts.

If he carries that momentum into the season, the rookie could finally give Cleveland the scoring threat it has long lacked.

Back at Washington, he recorded 62 receptions for 881 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Across his college career, the wide receiver amassed 132 receptions for 1,781 receiving yards and 20 touchdown catches.

"My whole goal when I go against a defender is I don't want him to be able to go home and be happy to be around his family," Boston said in an interview on 92.3 The Fan. "I want him to feel that from that game. That's the mentality that I'm bringing to the Cleveland Browns."

Boston's production and mentality might be exactly what the Browns have been missing for so long. Now that he's here, the team's fortunes could change. That said, even Deshaun Watson has been impressed by him.

Since training camp opened, Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion have been building chemistry with Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson. Both receivers have impressed the quarterbacks enough that they have nothing but praise for the rookie duo.

“I think KC and Boston have been doing a heck of a job picking up the offense, being able to learn from the veteran receivers in the room — but just making plays,” quarterback Deshaun Watson said, per Browns Zone.

Last year, the Browns' receiving corps was one of the biggest reasons the offense struggled. This time, Browns general manager Andrew Berry has made sure that weakness won't haunt the team again.

“I think just being able to see them come out here and go up for balls, making contested catches, has been really good. I think they’re going to be very productive and helpful for this offense,” said Watson.

As training camp continues, Boston keeps turning heads. But can he change Cleveland's fate?
