Right after winning the Defensive Player of the Year unanimously, Cleveland Browns' edge rusher Myles Garrett is setting new records in the NFL. However, one of his teammates believes he's just getting started.

During the May 1st episode of former NFL player Terron Armstead's 'The Set' podcast, Browns' defensive tackle Maliek Collins discussed how the star edge rusher has not reached his 'peak' yet.

"Myles is incredible. I don’t even think he’s at his peak yet. He's got more. I can see him getting more. Dude's so raw. He's still got so much to grow into, too," Collins stated.

Collins has acknowledged that playing alongside Garrett benefits the entire Browns' defensive front. In 17 games played last season, Miles made 60 total tackles and 43 solos, setting quite a precedent in the league.

Collins is a veteran of the sport now, with over a decade of experience playing for multiple franchises. Collins admits candidly that he has never felt this 'overwhelmed' playing alongside anyone else.

However, there is a reason behind it. When Collins and Garrett have controlled the edge rushing, they have complemented each other well. Last season, they accounted for 25.5 sacks. As Garrett dominated the edge, Collins added internal disruption.

However, Garrett wasn't the only player to get compliments from Collins.

Shedeur Sanders Has 'Swag' In His Game

It's not just Myles Garrett who has impressed Maliek Collins, but also the team's QB Shedeur Sanders, who has made quite a lasting impression on Collins.

"I think Shedeur, super talented. I think he has a lot to prove, too. Maybe to themselves, like, who am I? I think whoever we rolling with is who we are rolling with. … I think they said it is an open competition," Collins said.

This summer, the QB1 spot is up for grabs between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson. He also discussed the contrasting personalities that both Shedeur and Deshaun Watson have.

However, if longtime Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot's opinion is to be believed, Watson has the edge in this internal battle.

"Let the best man win in that situation. I like Shedeur, I like the swag he brings, the confidence he plays with. Deshaun’s a little bit more quiet, but he is still a baller," added Collins on the same podcast.

However, Collins was careful not to take a side. It's understandable that none of their Browns teammates will look to play favorites, but Collins' opinion about Sanders' 'swag' is noteworthy.

Maliek is visibly impressed with Shedeur's on-field confidence, energy, and charisma. He also acknowledges how Shedeur's presence improves the overall offense, even though he still has a lot to grow.
