Browns' Season Turns From Bad to Worse as Rookie Star Suffers Major Injury

The Cleveland Browns’ season got even worse, as they lost one of their most important stars, Quinshon Judkins, to an injury for the remainder of the season.
Head Coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that the rookie running back dislocated his ankle and fractured his fibula in Sunday’s 23-20 loss to the Bills. He expressed disappointment about his injury and talked about how good he had been for the Browns in his rookie season.
The unfortunate injury meant the end of Judkins’ incredible first season. He was Cleveland’s lead rusher, scoring 7 touchdowns for 827 yards on 230 carries in 14 games played this season. Although he didn’t register any receiving scores, he had 171 yards.
While speaking to the Media in the post-game presser, Stefanski said “Yeah Q’s been incredible. Great teammate, runs hard, cares about this game, cares about right things. So, I’m disappointed for him, he’s disappointed, but he’s not somebody that I worry about. He’ll bounce back.”

In the 23-20 loss against the Bills, he rushed eight times for 22 yards and caught five passes for a game-high 29 yards before exiting the game. The incident happened while he attempted to make a catch in the backfield when Bills linebacker Matt Milano hit him low. Fortunately, the replacements did a decent job for the rest of the game.
Kevin Stefanski praised Raheim Sanders and Trayveon Williams
After Quinshon Judkins got injured, running backs Raheim Sanders and Trayveon Williams replaced him on the field and were effective for Shedeur Sanders.
HC Kevin Stefanski also praised both of them in the post-game press conference. “Yeah they are the guys that we trust. I think I’ve told you guys many times, who’s ever in there we trust them. So, not surprised to see those guys come through. Couple of really big plays from Trayveon and I think rocket ran hard.”
Rocket Sanders has only played two games this season, and he came in handy when needed. Despite the loss, he rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries. The same goes for Trayveon, who recorded 38 yards in 4 receptions, including an impressive 26-yard catch in the 4th quarter.
