The Browns were forced to shake up the roster again after another injury, right before their matchup with the Bills. Cleveland is already 3–11, coming off a rough 31–3 loss to the Bengals, and now veteran right tackle Jack Conklin’s situation adds more pressure to a tough week.

The Browns are gettin' hit with another injury. Veteran RT Jack Conklin is headed to IR with a concussion, and it's a huge loss for their O-line. He's out for the game against the Bills and might be gone for the season.

This is a massive blow, as they're already dealing with Denzel Ward and David Njoku's injuries. So Cleveland moved quickly to plug the holes before taking on the Bills. They elevated Safety Christopher Edmonds to the active roster.

DT Keith Cooper Jr. and DT Maurice Hurst II also earned promotion from the practice squad to add depth to the interior rotation.

Conklin, who's gonna be a free agent after this season, has another injury-prone season in 2025. He hurt his elbow in the season opener, got concussions in Week 6 vs. the Steelers and Week 13 vs. the 49ers, and a knee injury in Week 11 vs. the Ravens. 

He started 15 games and was selected as an All-Pro. But things went downhill from there, with injuries piling up.

The Browns brought Conklin in before the 2020 season, and it was his best year with the team. This year, he took a $6 million pay cut for a $9 million guarantee, which included a $4.5 million signing bonus. Now, he's likely to be released after June 1, making him a free agent in March.

He's now the third starter from the Week 1 O-line to go on IR, joining Dawand Jones and Ethan Pocic. Tough break.
