After an injury scare against the Bills, the Cleveland Browns have dropped an update about Shedeur Sanders.

The Browns listed him as a full participant in Wednesday's practice report.

This comes on the back of Sanders' statement on Monday. When a reporter asked what his finger looked like, Sanders replied, “You can look online and see what my finger looked like.”

“I put in my hand warmer like ‘why’s my pinky not getting warm?’ Then, I got through to Quinshon, then it was a little hot.”

On Sunday, while playing against the Buffalo Bills, rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders injured his pinky finger. He stepped away for a while and was replaced by Dillon Gabriel.

Against the Bills, Sanders completed 20 passes out of 29 for 157 yards and was intercepted twice with one score. He is set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17. The only player to miss practice on Wednesday was tight end David Njoku, who is suffering from a knee injury.

Injuries aren't putting Shedeur Sanders off his game

The Browns are playing with a roster of replacements as many key players are injured. With running back Dylan Sampson, linebacker Winston Reid, guard Joel Bitonio, and cornerback Denzel Ward off the field, Sanders had stated his main motive was to complete throws. 

“I just got to get more completions,” Sanders said in a Wednesday press conference. “And even whenever we’re down or anything, I can’t press, you know, I just gotta remain having those mental notes to myself. Just work within the game and just keep driving the ball, get first downs.”

Unlike Sanders, Ward, who was adamant about playing in Weeks 15 and 16, was advised to rest by the medical staff and might sit out this season. Sanders and Co. are preparing to face the Steelers (9-6 and no.1 in the AFC North), who are fighting to clinch a playoff spot.
