Browns Likely to Revamp Entire O-Line as All Players Set for Free Agency

The Cleveland Browns are facing a complete offensive line rebuild. With contracts expiring for nearly every starter, the team must make tough decisions after a season where its quarterbacks were sacked 51 times. Here's a look at who is leaving and how the Browns can fix the problem.

LT Cam Robinson was on a 1‑year deal in 2025 worth about  $12 million. LG Bitonio signed a 3‑year extension through the 2025 season worth about  $48 million in 2021, which also ends this year. Although he and the Browns have agreed to push the void date, as he considers retirement.

C Ethan Pocic won't be coming back either until he gets an extension because he signed a 3‑year, $18 million contract extension with the Browns in March 2023. Then there's RG Wyatt Teller, who signed a 4‑year, $56.8 million extension in 2021 with the Browns.

Teller announced via an Instagram post that he will not be returning. RT Jack Conklin is an interesting case because he originally signed a 4‑year, $60 million extension with Cleveland in December 2022 that would keep him through 2026.

However, that deal has voided or is structured to void before the 2026 league year, so Conklin is also slated to be an unrestricted free agent unless re‑signed.

They allowed the 7th most sacks this season, 51. So what should the Browns do now? How do they create a new OL?

How Can the Cleveland Browns Rebuild the OL?

ESPN has suggested that it starts with three decisions that the Browns must take. If they want to keep one player from this entire OL, it would have to be Joel Bintonio. He has played 12 seasons in the NFL and has tons of experience.

More importantly, Bitonio had 16 solo tackles, 1 assist, and 4 fumble recoveries. In the 2025 season as well, he allowed just 1 penalty, 2 sacks, 1 hit, and 31 total pressures.

Then they could bring in Rasheed Walker. The Green Bay Packers' OT is going to be a free agent in the 2026 season, and there's no lack of talent with him. He allowed 9 penalties, 5 sacks, 1 hit, and 34 total pressures, with all 986 snaps coming at left tackle.

And then they can also trade for Walker Little. He's on a contract with the Jaguars that keeps him with the team through the 2027 season. But the Cleveland Browns give up a 2026 5th round pick and receive a 2027 7th round selection along with Walker Little.
