"He's a little frazzled" - Browns legend is worried about Deshaun Watson as QB1

The Cleveland Browns start their season this Sunday on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Deshaun Watson starting the game at QB. Despite a rough 4 years in Cleveland, new HC Todd Monken believes that Watson is the man who gives the Browns the best chance to win games right now.

Browns legend Hanford Dixson was on BIGPLAY Cleveland recently and opened up about what he expected from Watson. Dixon said that while he was supporting the Browns starter, he doesn't have a lot of confidence going into the game because of Watson's injury record. Dixon said:

"There's no question he's a little frazzled. I mean, you're talking about a guy that... He really hasn't played good football since we brought him over to the Cleveland Browns. You're talking about a guy that's torn two achilles. (via BIGPLAY Cleveland)

Hanford Dixon on how long Deshaun Watson will get as a starter

Hanford Dixon was also asked about how long he expects Deshaun Watson to get to prove that he can start for the Browns. Dixon expects Watson to get at least a couple of games:

"I think he's going to have a little bit of a long leash. Todd Monken named him the starting QB for game 1. I think he's got probably 2 games for him to make a good showing."

The Browns legend also reiterated that Watson needs to get at least a couple of games so that he doesn't feel he could be replaced by Shedeur Sanders after a bad play during the games he's starting.
