Browns Insider Sides With Kevin Stefanski Over Horrible Situation at Cleveland

This season, the Cleveland Browns have made headlines for a plethora of wrong reasons, and head coach Kevin Stefanski is at the center of them.

However, journalist and Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot Speaking on 92.3 The Fan just a day ago, said that Stefanski can not be blamed entirely.

"Kevin Stefanski deserves to coach this team with a QB he can win consistently with, and I don't know he's had that here for any length of time,” she said. “I would try and give him the QB and see what he can do with it."

Preseason, the Browns had multiple quarterbacks, but the only experienced starter was Joe Flacco. Deshaun Watson was out due to a ruptured Achilles, and Flacco was practising alongside rookies Shedeur Sanders and Dillion Gabriel.

However, the Browns traded Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals after the 2025 season started. After that, Kevin Stefanski came under fire for preferring Gabriel, who was injured midseason, before Sanders got his starter spot.

It is unclear who is to be held responsible for these decisions, Stefanski or the Browns’ general manager, Andrew Berry. However, Stefanski's problem isn't just limited to QBs.

Kevin Stefanski: A mixed legacy with the Browns

Fans are coming at Stefanski for the mismanaged in-game calls, and his procedural mistakes are adding fuel to the fire. From misplaced paperwork to consistent losses, the Browns are one of the messiest teams in the league.

Besides the team's QB issues, they've also failed to string together a decent win streak. While they have won three games, each win has been followed by at least three back-to-back losses.

However, Kevin Stefanski had guided the team into the playoffs in 2020 and 2023 and won Coach of the Year. Sanders has also displayed his talent with a three-touchdown performance in week 14 against the Titans.

Unfortunately, after another disastrous season, do you think the Browns’ ownership might replace the head coach? Or will Stefanski get another shot to bring out the best in the team?
