Browns insider predicts that Shedeur Sanders will be traded
Deshaun Watson will be looking to cement his position as the Cleveland Browns' QB1 this Sunday night. The Browns play the Panthers in the first home game of the season.
With fans still split and some clamoring for Shedeur Sanders to start for the Browns this season, it looks like some in Cleveland media are not on the same page.
Will the Browns trade Shedeur Sanders?
ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi predicted that the Browns could trade Sanders before the 2027 season starts:
"Anything I say will sound like I want this to happen but what you're asking me is what I think will happen. I don't think he's with the team next year. I think they have Taylen Green, they have Dillon Gabriel, they have a rookie [next year] and I think he's the odd man out." (via ESPN Cleveland)
Stephen A. Smith recently called for the Browns to trade for Shedeur Sanders after Jaxson Dart's injury. Even though unlikely, there might be a slight chance Shedeur could be traded before the trade deadline if a good enough offer comes in.
