Browns Insider Gets Honest Over Top 32 Names Most Likely to Make the Cut
The Cleveland Browns roster is taking shape as 32 players seem locked in weeks before training camp, as per a Browns insider.
Browns insider, Spencer German discussed the players on the Locked on Browns Podcast. He first addressed the offensive side.
The first position German talked about was the quarterback spot. He said that one person who’s definitely making the cut, mostly because of his contract, is Deshaun Watson. He was also confident about Shedeur Sanders.
For the running back spots, German locked in Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson, as they showed potential last year. The third spot is up for grabs by either of these guys: Raheem Sanders, Amani Marshall, Devon Booth and TJ Harden.

German then addressed the wide receiver room with KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston definitely on the roster. There is a slight chance of Isaiah Bond making it, having shown some promise last year with his speed, but also being limited because of his running route capability.
Jerry Jeudy will also make the cut, even though questions arise about his future, given the $52.5 million contract. He added that HC Monken would lean on Jeudy to headline the wide receiver room. The other two spots, if the Browns keep six WRs, are up for grabs.
In the tight end spot, German was sure that Harold Fannin Jr. would make the roster and headline the group. Joe Royer, who was drafted in the fifth round this year, will also be there.
Coming to the offensive linemen, German was sure of Spencer Fano, Zion Johnson, Elgton Jenkins, and Tytus Howard. Teven Jenkins would be the guard, and then Austin Barber and Parker Brailsford.
The total linemen count comes to seven. The remaining three spots are up for grabs.
With this analysis, Spencer German rounded his 17 picks for the offensive side of the Browns roster. He continued to share his insights on the Browns’ defensive side.
Spencer German’s 15 Picks for the Browns' Defense
Although there’s more trust in the Browns’ defense, Spencer German could only lock in 15 guys on that side.
German started with Myles Garrett, the defensive end and star player of the Browns. However, German did note that there’s a possibility of a trade that will only be cleared if Garrett shows up to the mandatory minicamp.
The other defensive ends that are locked in are Alex Wright and Isaiah McGuire. On the interior side, Malik Collins and Mason Graham are the confirmed starting defensive linemen.
Mike Hall Jr. also makes the cut, while Kalia Davis comes in with uncertainty as the Browns signed him as a free agent.
German had straightforward guesses for the linebacker group. Carson Schwesinger, Quincy Williams and Justin Jefferson. For cornerbacks, the picks are Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell.
For the safety group, the picks are Grant Delpitt, Ronnie Hickman and Emmanuel McNeil Warren.
German’s projected 32 picks on the offense and the defense give a sneak peek into the 53-man Browns’ roster as they head to the training camp and the 2026 season.
