Browns Get Ominous Message from Wyatt Teller's Agent After Cleveland Exit

When a three-time Pro Bowler's agent says you will regret not re-signing a player, it certainly makes one think. The Cleveland Browns have let go of their offensive guard, Wyatt Teller, after seven illustrious seasons. And Teller’s agent, Andy Ross, has a message for the team.

“Wyatt Teller’s agent, Andy Ross, takes a subtle jab on Instagram at the Cleveland Browns, suggesting they may regret not re-signing Teller as he moves on to the Texans," Browns Nation posted on X on Saturday.

“The Browns will wish they resigned Wyatt at some point.. but onto the Texans now,” read the initial "jab" by Wyatt Teller's agent.

Ross made this statement on Friday when he announced Teller’s deal with the Houston Texans. The 31-year-old signed a two-year deal worth $16 million and can go up to a maximum value of $23 million.

After a lackluster rookie season with the Buffalo Bills (60.2 PFF grade) wherein Teller allowed three sacks, the youngster was traded to the Browns in 2018.

In Cleveland, Teller became a three-time Pro Bowler. In his breakout 2020 season, the guard was ranked first among all others in the NFL with a 90+ PFF grade.

As the primary right guard, he recorded 765 snaps in the 2025 season, allowing three sacks and incurring four penalties.

Despite their shared success, the management let go of Teller. They instead re-signed Teven Jenkins, who only started in four games last season. But that was just the beginning.

Cleveland Browns Add Depth to their O-Line Ahead of the 2026 Season

Earlier in March, the Cleveland Browns signed former Los Angeles Chargers guard Zion Johnson as one of the many O-Line changes.

The management also roped in former Green Bay Packers center Elgton Jenkins and traded for former Houston Texans offensive tackle Tytus Howard in the process.

Wyat Teller left the Browns after witnessing one of the most frustrating quarterback shuffles in the franchise's history, involving four quarterbacks. As things stand, the Browns have yet to announce who will be the QB1 next season.

Teller is certainly off to a franchise that sported a very impressive defense in 2025 and made the playoffs. The Browns, meanwhile, struggled with a 5-12 record
