Browns Fans React as All Starting O-Line Stars Set for Free Agency

Feb 20, 2026, 4:32 PM CUT

The Cleveland Browns are facing an unprecedented crisis. After a difficult 2025 season, the team's entire starting offensive line is set to hit free agency next month. This situation has divided the fanbase and threatens the team's stability.

LT Cam Robinson was on a one-year, $12 million deal in 2025, which means he is leaving if not for an extension. LG Joel Bitonio, who signed a three-year, $48 million extension in 2021 through the 2025 season, is also set to become a free agent.

Though he and the Browns have agreed to delay the contract’s void date while he considers retirement. C Ethan Pocic won’t return unless he receives a new extension, since he signed a three-year, $18 million deal with Cleveland in March 2023.

RG Wyatt Teller, who inked a four-year, $56.8 million extension in 2021, also is hitting free agency as his contract expires next month and has confirmed via Instagram that he won’t be back. RT Jack Conklin is a special case.

He signed a four-year, $60 million extension in December 2022 intended to last through 2026, but the deal is structured to void before the 2026 league year, making him an unrestricted free agent unless re-signed.

Some are terrifed with losing an entire list of starters, while some are happy to let them go because they had poor performance last season.

Cleveland Browns Fans Are Divided on Free Agency

One fan said, "This might be the biggest 'quiet disaster' in the league right now. Fans are distracted by QBs and WRs. Meanwhile, Cleveland might lose the one thing keeping them alive."

However, very few have focused the discussion on the offensive line. "I believe it will be the first time since 1970 that a team in the NFL replaced its entire offensive line. Browns about to make history…" another comment read.

Many teams have come close. After the 2020 season, the Chargers let go of four of their five primary OL starters (Dan Feeney, Forrest Lamp, Sam Tevi, Trai Turner) in free agency or via cuts.

One said, "Good. They were comfortably the worst unit in the sport." Another echoed that sentiment: "Individually they’re good. As a whole they s*****... Not sure how else to describe it".This Browns OL allowed 51 sacks in the 2025 NFL season.

That is the seventh highest by any team. "This unique situation presents a rare opportunity for the Browns to revamp their offense," said a user. An ESPN report has asked the Browns to keep Bitonio, sign Rasheed Walker, and trade Walker Little. What do you think about it?
