Browns fans given encouraging Quinshon Judkins update ahead of training camp
What once looked like a crushing setback is quickly becoming a comeback story. Seven months after Quinshon Judkins' devastating ankle injury against the Buffalo Bills, the latest development has given Cleveland Browns fans every reason to believe he's back on track.
According to Cleveland.com Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot, the running back is poised to pick up right where he left off last season after recovering from an injury. Before his untimely exit, he rushed for 827 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.
“As far as such injuries go, Judkins had the best-case scenario for a full recovery, and his surgery, performed by head team physician Dr. James Voos of University Hospitals, went as well as it could,” wrote Cabot.
Judkins participated in the 11-on-11 drills during Organized Team Activities and saw more action during mandatory minicamp from June 9-11. According to Cleveland.com Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot, "he looked explosive running the ball and making yards after the catch."

Cabot noted Judkins has been working closely with running backs coach Brad Lester throughout his recovery
Under Lester's guidance, Judkins has built a regimen targeting explosiveness: hill sprints for leg drive, weighted drills for power, tennis-ball catches for hand-eye coordination.'
Entering the 2026 season, Judkins leads the running back room that also features fourth-round rookie Dylan Sampson and second-year speedster Raheim “Rocket” Sanders.
The question now: can Judkins build on last season's momentum, or will the injury linger?'
Quinshon Judkins believes he's primed for training camp
The star running back on June 11 sat down with the Akron Beacon Journal ahead of training camp. During the interview, the analyst asked how confident he had felt during his breakout season before the injury.
"Just taking it day by day, man, and just really knowing the goal and where I want to be and getting back to making plays on the field and just feeling like myself," Judkins said via the Akron Beacon Journal. "So that's what my main goal was."
Now that he is healthy, Judkins is looking to have another breakout season.
"Yeah, I would say, as you said, confident," Judkins said. "I know the work that I put in. So I'm prepared to just go out there and just put it on the field,” said Judkins.
With training camp about to begin and the regular season fast approaching, how do you think Quinshon Judkins will perform in 2026?
