San Francisco 49ers' wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has fired another jab at the franchise, this time aiming at his coaches. And the comment is anything but subtle.

“Coach wants me to come back so I can draw all the coverage and make it easy for the guys that remind him of himself from back in his heyday,” wrote Aiyuk in his latest Instagram story.

According to Grant Cohn of Sports Illustrated, the coach Aiyuk appears to be taking a shot at might be Kyle Shanahan, who compared himself to the 49ers' 2024 draft pick Ricky Pearsall.

The WR's grievances extended beyond his coach. Aiyuk has been using his Instagram Story to continue his rants, comparing his stats with others, and claiming he would win a Super Bowl in the near future.

“People have career years when 11 on the O! Everybody eat NO KIZZY!!! I hold an NFL RECORD for making plays w the least amount of opportunities!!! I'm looking for MY opp cuz I'm gone capitalize and win a bowl! I'm not gone fumble it away!! I'm done playing backseat to folks who NOT like that!!! #TRUESTORY #FREEYUKE.” wrote Aiyuk in another Instagram Story.

For the uninitiated, Aiyuk here took a shot at 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey, referring to the running back's costly Super Bowl fumble against the Chiefs.

McCaffrey lost possession on the 49ers' opening red-zone drive, and the team eventually fell three points short of victory.

More importantly, Aiyuk claims the front office has reached out to him about a comeback. And his response?

"I'm not returning to the power plant wtf 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣,” wrote Aiyuk.

While Aiyuk has once again insisted that he would leave the 49ers even if they want him back, one analyst believes his antics might be pushing other teams away as well.

Aiyuk is making teams think twice about signing him

Brandon Aiyuk's rant against the 49ers has dragged on since last November with no signs of slowing down.

His constant statements and social media antics may have scared off potential landing spots, at least according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

“I honestly believe that he’s scared off teams like Washington,” Schefter said on his podcast on July 14. “I think they are looking at these social media posts—repeated social media posts—where he is blasting the Niners, where he’s criticizing Jayden Daniels; they are saying, ‘Is this the kind of guy that we want to bring in right now and have as a part of our franchise? And my guess, more often than not, would be ‘no.’”

Schefter believes that even if Aiyuk earns reinstatement, lucrative offers are unlikely. Rather than teams chasing him, he would likely have to prove his worth through workouts. Nonetheless, the insider believes that the market will be extremely limited for him.

“That market right now—at best—is going to be soft,” added Schefter.
