Bills Make Up Mind on Josh Allen’s Next Head Coach After Philip Rivers Quits

The Buffalo Bills have found the next person to lead following Sean McDermott’s exit, and it’s not Philip Rivers.

Recently, the 44-year-old veteran withdrew from consideration as the Bills’ head coach. Now, the Bills are turning towards their offensive coordinator, Joe Brady.

According to Ari Meirov, they are expected to make Brady the new head coach. He has worked as an offensive coordinator for the Bills and the Carolina Panthers. Brady did an incredible job for the Bills, leading the league in rushing touchdowns for two seasons straight.

However, some didn’t like the idea of Brady being the head coach. Famous sports personality Nick Wright felt that he wasn’t the right guy for the job.

“If the argument of firing McDermott was needing a team exorcism… then I don’t know if bringing in a guy who’s been there the last four years is a fix,” Wright said.

Another thing that could go against the Bills for hiring Brady is that he has no prior experience coaching a team. McDermott spent eight seasons with the Bills and took them to the playoffs seven times.

It’ll be intriguing to see how the team does when Brady takes over.

Josh Allen is a Big Supporter of Joe Brady

For any team's success, the head coach and the quarterback need to be on the same page. Josh Allen spoke about the improvement Brady had made around the postseason. His answer was as straightforward as it gets.

“Nothing. Teams should stay away from him.

Allen truly reached a new level with Brady as the OC. In the 2024 season, the 29-year-old scored 28 touchdowns and threw for 3731 yards. Not only that, but he also became the MVP.

With Brady being the head coach, will Allen finally win the Super Bowl? Let us know in the comments!
