Bears Fans Left Fuming After Recent Odds Link Tyreek Hill to Chicago

Apr 4, 2026, 3:20 AM CUT

Tyreek Hill is on the move, and it could take him from the Florida sunshine to the icy blizzards of Chicago.

For the first time in his career, Tyreek Hill is a free agent. And as per a Dov Kleiman post on X, the Chicago Bears are "heavy favorites" to land the eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver.

The Bears made an immediate jump under Ben Johnson as head coach, going from a 5-12 record in 2024 to a winning 11-6 record in 2025. The team topped the NFC North division, making that their first since 2018.

Tyreek Hill may be the puzzle piece that takes them to the next level. The five-time First Team All-Pro will enter his 11th NFL season. The Cheetah has played 145 games, caught the football 819 times, and has 11,363 yards with an average of 13.9 yards, which is more than a first down.

The former Super Bowl winner also has 83 receiving touchdowns to his name in the NFL.

The Bears do not have a marquee wide receiver, and Tyreek Hill could be that player. However, Hill is coming off an extremely serious knee injury he suffered in week four of the 2025 season against the New York Jets. This involved a dislocated knee, torn ACL, and multiple ligament tears.

As per Dov Kleiman, this would make the Bears a Super Bowl favorite, but the fans have something else to say.

"Super Bowl Favorite? Wake Up": Fans React to Tyreek Hill's Potential Chicago Move

Tyreek Hill's talent is undeniable, but his off-field behavior has made him an unpredictable presence throughout his career.

His infamous "I'm out, bro" comments during the 2024 season created significant tension inside the Miami Dolphins' locker room. The Bears' fans feel Hill won't be a match at all.

“A Super Bowl Favorite? (crying emoji) yeah right lmao (laughing my a** out),” a fan commented.

But some fans are buying into his electric, speedster personality.

“The Bears need the Cheetah to take one step toward the Super Bowl,” added another.

With Hill's serious injury, there are reports that the WR may not be able to perform at his best. Also, his production in the past two seasons has not reached his usual 1000 receiving yards mark.

“Gonna overpay for a washed WR that is a shell of himself,” the user wrote.

“Super Bowl favorite? For a guy coming off a torn ACL? Wake up, lol (laughing out loud),” quipped another.

At 32-years of age, the wide receiver has plenty of football ahead of him, but will it be in the Windy City under Ben Johnson?
