Stars are not rightly aligned for Puka Nacua, as the WR has been fined post his remarks on the NFL officials.

The NFL fined Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua $25,000 for his words in a livestream with internet personalities Adin Ross and Mikyle Rafiq, also known as N3on.

"Some of the rules aren't … These guys want to be … these guys are lawyers. They want to be on TV too," he said. "You don't think he's texting his friends in the group chat like, 'Yo, you guys just saw me on Sunday Night Football. That wasn't P.I., but I called it.'"

But only if this story ended there.

The Seahawks clutched a close victory over the Rams in a 38-37 scoreline. Post the game, Nacua doubled down on his words.

"Can you say I was wrong. Appreciate you stripes for your contribution. Lol," he posted X.

The officials did make some controversial calls in this game, like when a Seahawks 2-point conversion that looked incomplete was ruled a backward pass on replay. It allowed Zach Charbonnet to recover it in the end zone and tie the game late in the fourth quarter.

There were multiple flags on the Rams (eight for 54 yards), including pass interference and other calls that affected momentum.

The WR was angry at all these decisions, but he has calmed down since.

Puka Nacua Has Since Apologized

Nacua later deleted the post. He said that he made the comments in a "moment of frustration" in the post-game press conference, "just thinking of the opportunities that I could've done better to take it out of their hands," he reasoned.

A reporter also asked if he believed in what he said on the livestream.

"No, I don't," the WR said. "It was just a lack of awareness and just some frustration. I know there are moments where I feel like, man, you watch other games, and you think of the calls that some guys get, and you wish you could get some of those. But that's just how football is played. "
