Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is preparing for his last season in the NFL. Meanwhile, one of his teammates, Spencer Anderson, is making a change in his representation.

Anderson, who has played with the Steelers since 2023, has now officially shifted from his management team, Vanguard Sports Agency. From now on, he will be represented by  1 of 1 Agency.

“Heading into a contract year, Pittsburgh Steelers guard Spencer Anderson is now being represented by 1 of 1 Agency,” Chris Ward of Steelers Now wrote. “Two other players from the Steelers’ 2023 draft class are also represented by 1 of 1 Agency — outside linebacker Nick Herbig and defensive tackle Keeanu Benton.”

According to Chris Ward’s report on Steelers Now, Anderson moved away from Vanguard after spending three years with them. Even 1 of 1 Agency shared the announcement on their Instagram account on Saturday, July 18. 

Anderson has been part of the Steelers roster way before Rodgers joined in 2025. He will be playing his next season, the final year of his four-year, $3,917,776 rookie contract.

So far, Anderson has played 42 regular-season games for the Steelers, starting in 11 of them.

Rodgers, on the other hand, played 16 games last season. With the QBs' Super Bowl-winning coach Mike McCarthy back in the picture, the Steelers will take one last shot for the ultimate glory before Rodgers bids farewell to the NFL.

Meanwhile, Anderson's efforts on the field during minicamp are bearing fruit. The football guard is settling well in his fourth year.

Spencer Anderson feels comfortable at Steelers minicamp

Spencer Anderson is enjoying the minicamp process. Training with the team at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, this is what Anderson said, as per Steelers Now.

"Just doing what I do every day,” Anderson said. "I know my home is kind of right guard, so just kind of making it my home. I was told to go to right, so I’m just doing my best I can, and I feel comfortable doing it."

Anderson is currently locked in a competition with Brock Hoffman and Gennings Dunker for the right guard position. Former Steelers offensive lineman Trai Essex already believes that Anderson will get the spot.

"I think Spencer Anderson has the edge because he has the experience,” Essex said, per Steelers Depot. "He needs to get low. He needs to work on his pass protection and his footwork and his hand placement. Spencer Anderson, I think, has the edge, and I think he wins that battle when it comes to training camp.”

He did state that Anderson needs to improve on his pass protection and footwork, among other aspects.

Aaron Rodgers got sacked 29 times last year. If he wants to change the script, he will need Anderson to fortify his defense. Hence, both these players need to be at their best if they hope to make a deep playoff run this year.
