A. J. Brown Reportedly Linked to Team Up with Josh Allen Amidst Eagles Exit Rumors
A. J. Brown could be on the move. After a frustrating season in Philadelphia, the star receiver is now linked to the Buffalo Bills in a potential trade.
The move would give Josh Allen the top target his offense was missing. According to CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan, it is projected to cost the Bills a third and fifth-round pick in a potential trade this offseason.
If a couple of mid-round picks could solve their problem, GM Brandon Beane wouldn’t think twice.
The Bills struggled without a top aerial threat this season, with no receiver crossing the 1000+ yard mark. Signing Brown would give them a proven top receiver.
However, Beane might face some hurdles in acquiring the 28-year-old, as he has an expensive contract. Browns carries a $23.4 million cap hit next season and is also due $29 million in guarantees.
While Brown's move to the Bills might be a rumor, players from other franchises are excited to acquire him.
Derrick Henry’s Excitement About A. J. Brown
In the conversation with Kay Adams on her show, Baltimore's running back, Derrick Henry, was a little too excited to have Brown in the Ravens.
“We would gladly love to have him… Come on over, please A. J., come to Baltimore, let’s go get this ring… Him and Zay, that’d be crazy. And then Bate, Mark, gotta get Likely back. We cooking,” said Henry.
"Please, please, A. J., come to Baltimore. Let's go get this ring. You got one in Philly. Come to Baltimore," he added during his time on the Up & Adams show.
