2020 Eagles Draft Pick Spotted at Browns Tryout Despite Being Absent From the List

The Cleveland Browns held their rookie minicamp in Berea on Friday. A unique prospect, also the 2020 Draft pick of the Eagles, was spotted there for a veteran tryout.

Wide receiver Jalen Reagor landed in Cleveland for their tryouts as the Browns continue to build their offense. The team didn’t report his attendance as a tryout player earlier, but they did register his name on a list they shared right before the practice.

Per sportswriter Cayden Steele at NJ Advance Media, Reagor spent a couple of weeks last season on the practice squad for the Chargers. However, he hasn’t been on a team since October 2025.

The Browns' tryout session could give him one more chance at returning to the field.

The 27-year-old was the first-round and 21st overall pick of the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2020 NFL Draft. After two seasons, he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings. Then, he spent seasons 2023 with the New England Patriots and 2024 with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Browns are still taking chances on high draft veteran picks to revamp their roster. However, Cory Kinnan of the Browns Wire believes that the chances of Reagor making it to Cleveland are slim. The WR room already has players like Jerry Jeudy, Malachi Corely, and Isaiah Bond, and now rookies, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston.

The Browns’ Rookie WRs Highlighted at the Minicamp

The main focus of the rookie minicamp was the Browns’ highest-drafted WRs in years, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Concepcion was the first-round and overall 24th pick while Boston was the second-round and overall 39th pick during the NFL 2026 Draft.

In his first and only season with Texas A&M, KC Concepcion was able to register 61 receptions for 919 yards with nine touchdowns. Boston, on the other hand, had 132 receptions for 1,781 yards and 20 touchdowns in 43 games he played for the Washington Huskies in 2024 and 2025.

Boston believes that he and KC will bring a "good mix of explosiveness" to the team, having scored multiple TDs throughout their collegiate days.

While KC and Boston are still warming up to systems at Cleveland, it’ll be worth seeing if Reagor can contribute enough to make it to the team’s active roster.

Do you think Reagor will make the roster?
